Edward Pacheco is a researcher engineer in the school of applied mathematics of Fundação Getulio Vargas, EMAp/FGV (RJ-Brazil) and lecturer in the computer science school of UTEC (Lima-Peru). Previously to his current position, he was researcher in the global CTO’s research office at Dell Technologies for around eight years. He also worked as infrastructure analyst at Braspag. He obtained an M.Sc. in Informatics at PUC-Rio (RJ, Brazil) and B.E. in System Engineering at UNSA (Arequipa-Peru). His principal research interests are cloud computing, big data, and visualization.
